FAQ

Questions we actually get asked.

Direct answers about the platforms, access, evidence, and support.

What does Celaron build?

Celaron runs three live platforms: Matflow, a scientific R&D operating system for chemistry and materials teams; CAPRI, a precision-oncology variant interpretation workbench; and Celaron Chat, a private AI workspace. All three are built with the same discipline: traceable evidence, transparent engines, and data you can export or self-host.

Who is behind Celaron?

Celaron was founded by Bassil Elshenawy, an AI engineer and BEng Artificial Intelligence student at Ulster University, with research experience at QCRI, QEERI, and QSTP. He leads product and engineering across Matflow and CAPRI. You can read more on the About page.

How do I try Matflow?

Create a free account at matflow.celaron.com — free accounts include every module. Academic researchers, students, and staff with institutional email domains (.edu, .edu.qa, .ac.*, .gov) are approved automatically for an extended academic tier. The first ten labs can join as Founding Labs at $79/month locked for life.

Can I use Matflow in my own infrastructure?

Yes. Matflow is self-hostable via Docker, and models and datasets can be exported without lock-in. Enterprise deployments can be run on your private cloud or on-premise, with integrations to existing ELN/LIMS systems.

How do I get CAPRI access?

Sign-up is open at capri.celaron.com. Create an account with an email address or Google, verify it, and you can start interpreting variants and uploading cohorts. No institutional affiliation is required.

Is the evidence in Matflow verified?

Every number carries an evidence class and links back to its source run. Measured data comes from instruments; computed data comes from named engines with engine cards (version, license, limitations, citation); predicted data comes with conformal intervals and extrapolation flags. Published benchmarks are reproducible from bundled datasets and dated on the public benchmarks hub.

Are you open to collaborations or hiring?

Yes to collaborations — research partnerships, integrations, and pilot deployments are all interesting. Email bassil@celaron.com with a sentence about what you're working on. Celaron does not currently run a formal hiring programme, but you can always introduce yourself.

How do I get support?

For product help, email support@celaron.com or use the in-app help in Matflow and CAPRI. For everything else — partnerships, research, press — email bassil@celaron.com. We read every message.
